Only Ultimate. Xero's current plans are Ignite, Grow, Comprehensive and Ultimate. In Australia, New Zealand and the UK, Xero Projects is included in Ultimate and listed as excluded on the other three. Ultimate includes Projects for 10 users, and extra users cost more each month. There's no separate Projects add-on on Xero's pricing pages.

For comparison, Comprehensive (the plan below, without Projects) is listed at A$107, NZ$117 and £55. Xero's Australian prices last changed on 1 July 2026. Prices change, so check Xero's pricing page for your region before you upgrade.
What this means for time tracking
- Every Xero time-tracking feature, including the timer, lives in Projects. On Ignite, Grow or Comprehensive there's nothing to track time into.
- Any app that writes time to Xero Projects, Punchcard included, needs an organisation on a plan with Projects.
- If you're not on Ultimate and don't want to be, a standalone tracker like Toggl Track or Harvest keeps time outside Xero instead.
